Finishing up the new site, and preparing for release... Version 2.0 release imminent.

Just wanted to let everyone know I've been writing a lot of code, and PEMDAS Widget 2.0 is now feature complete!! It's a pretty big milestone. Not only is the new version a huge improvement over the old one, but it will be MUCH easier to update in the future, so there won't be another three year lag between updates.

So now the next step is re-testing everything, trying to find/squash any bugs, and making sure it upgrades from the current version correctly. I'm going to be testing a release candidate in the next day or two, definitely drop me a line if you're interested!

I really don't like saying dates, but I wouldn't wait too long before checking back... (!)

I'm still here. I've been pretty busy with everything else and haven't had much time to program, BUT I've gotten a bunch of work in over the past few weeks and am pretty close to finishing 2.0. Check back in a week or two for an update!

Obviously PEMDAS 2.0 has not been released yet, even though it's May. I'm very sorry about this, and it's a little frustrating (and ironic), because as soon as I put the graphic and news post up saying I'd release PEMDAS 2.0 in April, a project at my work that was originally due in June changed to be due April 30. Since I had to work a lot of hours to finish it, I wasn't able to get much work in on PEMDAS.

We'll see how things go, but I'm hoping to release PEMDAS by May 17, and hopefully sooner. The biggest thing left is bug testing the support for commas in the equation and also re-implementing copy/paste, and there are a few minor issues.

But not only am I eager to release it so everyone can use it, but I also want to work on an update to the iPhone app and a new iPad app, and I'm not going to start until the widget is out.

Again sorry for another delay but I still think it will be worth it.
